Send your name to the Space or to the Moon.
NASA will write names of people into DVDs that will be stored on board of the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and the Kepler spacecraft. If you submit your name online you'll also receive a printable certificate.
Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter's objectives are to find safe landing sites for a future colonization of the Moon, locate potential resources, characterize the radiation environment, and demonstrate new technology.
Kepler is NASA's first mission capable of detecting Earth-size and smaller planets in the habitable zone of solar-like stars. To find such planets is a first step to discover alien lifeforms. |
